My Story

My Dad recently had to spend some time in hopsital and is currently receiving treatment. I wanted to run a marathon to raise some money for the hospital but its too long for my little legs. So ... I am walking 3 km on Sunday 5th July 2026 at Wilton House as part of the Walk for Wards event. I am supporting the Stars Appeal, Salisbury District Hospitals Charity.

Because of the charity my Dad gets things like aromatherarpy, massages and lunch when having his treatment. It is very spoily but makes a pretty grim time much nicer for people. They also pay for people to come in and play with the children in hospital, amongst lots of other things.

Funds raised from the event goes towards the £2million the Stars Appeal aims to raise to fund a huge variety of projects across the Hospital, helping hundreds of patients every day and the staff that care for them.
